A restaurant in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin was looking for a beautiful, natural finish flooring system that met their budget needs and coordinated with the overall design theme of the restaurant. This restaurant sought out Floorcare USA Inc.  to engineer a High Traffic Urethane flooring system for the kitchen, food prep and bar area’s.  Floorcare USA chose to do a diamond grind surface to expose aggregate. Then applied several coats of High Traffic System urethane. This system provides:

• a non-porous surface for all food processing area’s of the kitchen
• high traction under wet conditions
• high chemical resistance
• very easy to clean.

In the dining area’s of the restaurant, the concrete was aggressively diamond-grinded to promote aggregate exposure and then harden and densified several times as the concrete was very new and soft. The concrete was then grinded and polished in a sequential process up to 1500 grit levels where an application of concrete polish guard was applied. If properly maintained the concrete floors should provide the restaurant with years of strong performance.
