Floorcare USA of Waukesha, Wisconsin listened to the needs of the client and helped them to decide on polished concrete with decorative elements and decorative concrete stain and concrete dye to be the perfect flooring solution for their beautiful new bar and family restaurant.
Floorcare USA mechanically diamond grinded the concrete to provide an exposed aggregate finish, then performed a sequentially mechanical diamond grind concrete polish of the concrete up to 800 grit levels.
Once grinded, Floorcare USA mapped out the decorative score cut pattern of the floors to define between the different concrete stain and concrete dye colors of the floor and to provide for a refined and finish look to the concrete.
This extra step really separates Floorcare USA from other provides in the polished concrete industry.
Many other vendors in the polished concrete industry will simply apply tape to define between difference stained concrete colors and to define various geometric shapes in the concrete slab.
These are not as refined, elegant or artistic as decorative score cuts and not as “tight” in defining between different stain and concrete dye colors and the concrete stain and concrete dye can sometimes “bleed” through the tape.
Once the decorative aspects of the polished concrete flooring installation were completed, Floorcare USA then applied the polished concrete guard products to the surface and high speed burnished to the desired sheen level that the client instructed.
The burnishing process takes the concrete guard product and heats it up to better react and blend with the concrete and to improve the chemical resistance properties of the polished concrete.
