A Local Grill wanted a perfect house flooring solution when they sought out Floorcare USA . Floorcare met with the client and decided to use polished concrete with concrete dye/stain to give them the perfect floor and created a beautiful design to install.
Floorcare then measured out the concrete floors and laid out the decorative score cut patterns in the concrete surface to provide for an artistic and decorative element.
Once they floor layout was done, Floorcare installed the decorative score cuts to the concrete surface.
This is a very detailed process and requires the use of a special concrete saw system called: The Mongoose.
Decorative Score cuts add a bit of style to a concrete flooring system and give it a more refined and elegant look.
Once this process was done, Floorcare performed the initial grind of the concrete to fully prep it and expose some salt and pepper aggregate in the concrete surface.
Once the initial prepping grind process was performed, Floorcare performed a sequential concrete polish process up to 800-grit levels; densifying, hardening and concrete dye/concrete stain application to the concrete floors in the client selected concrete dye/concrete stain colors.
Once the polish concrete process was completed a final application of concrete guard was installed and then it was burnished up to a mid-level sheen of what is referred to as 1500-grit levels.
The client was left with a beautiful polished concrete surface that is elegant, beautiful, durable and easy to maintain!
All terrific benefits of a polished concrete flooring system.
