When a Milwaukee, Wisconsin Major League Baseball Stadium was looking for the right Epoxy Concrete Coatings System for their loading dock, they knew just who to partner with: Floorcare USA, Inc.

Concrete floors in Stadiums are an extremely important aspect to the facility as they must be:

• aesthetically pleasing
• easy to clean

For the concrete floors in this Milwaukee, Wisconsin Baseball Stadium the client asked that Floorcare pay particular attention to the traction levels of the floors as they had several slip and fall incidents.

Floorcare USA first tested the baseball stadiums concrete floors and determined the SCOF-Static Coefficient of Friction of the concrete and then engineered a floor that met with the ANSI standards to be a HIGH TRACTION concrete floor under wet conditions.
Sample systems were then installed and Floorcare and the Baseball Stadium worked together to engineer the perfect epoxy coated concrete flooring system.

First the floors were mechanically prepped, then they were epoxy primed, then the concrete surface was patched and troweled to repair any damage, pits, spalls and cracks.

Once the prepping and patching of the concrete was completed, a base coat of concrete resurfacing system with blended aggregates was applied to and this layer of epoxy concrete coatings was allowed to fully cure out.

A yellow high traffic line stripe in High Traffic System was then installed to define a pedestrian walkway.
Once the base coat with aggregate was fully cured and in a time window for a chemical bond Floorcare USA, Inc., then applied one coat of Tennant Coatings WearGuard HTS – High Traffic System Urethane in satin finish and allowed it to tack.
Once it fully tacks, Floorcare then applied a second coat of High Traffic System Urethane and allow to fully cure.
The stadium now has floors that are all the things you want in an epoxy, urethane concrete coated flooring system: durable, high traction, easy to clean and very beautiful.
