When a local Milwaukee, Wisconsin major league ballpark was looking for the right concrete floor coatings solution for their restroom floors they consulted with Floorcare USA of Waukesha, Wisconsin.

The Milwaukee, Wisconsin Major League ballpark group wanted concrete coated floors that offered the following performance characteristics:

Floorcare USA worked with the group diligently; asking many questions, performing detailed site analysis, site samples, extensive site testing of the concrete with BOT3000 Digital Tribometer testing and helped to engineer the perfect floor.
Based on the site testing and the 7-specific performance criteria that this Milwaukee, Wisconsin ballpark was seeking in its restroom concrete floors it was decided that Tennant Coatings ECO-HTS High Traffic System Urethane was the perfect system.
WearGuard™-HTS is a two-component, moisture-cured urethane with excellent abrasion resistance. The high solids formula contains special fillers to deliver twice the wear life of standard urethanes—making it ideal for loading docks and other areas with extremely heavy traffic.

Tennant ECO-HTS High Traffic System concrete floor coating system has the following performance attributes:’

This Milwaukee, Wisconsin epoxy concrete coatings and urethane concrete coatings project consisted of the following steps:
First, Floorcare USA mechanically diamond grinded all the concrete with planetary head diamond grind units and hand diamond grinded all edges of the concrete for a clean and bondable surface.
Then Floorcare USA mechanically diamond grinded the control and expansion joints and filled them smooth and level with polyurea joint filler and flexible, exposed joint fillers.
Once the joint work was done, Floorcare USA patched and troweled any chips, pits and holes smooth and level with epoxy patch kits.
Floorcare USA then applied a primer coat of Tennant Coatings epoxy concrete primer system in neutral and allow it fully cure, then applied a top coat system of Tennant Coatings Wear Guard HTS, satin finish in neutral and allowed to fully cure.
This Milwaukee, Wisconsin Major League ballpark now has concrete coated floors that meet all of their performance requirements and will provide years of reliable and safe performance if maintained properly.
