The Milwaukee Business Journal recently published its Real Estate Awards and Floorcare USA, Inc., of Waukesha, WI was involved in several of the projects where the concrete floors played a major part in the new facility.
The first concrete flooring project was for an adult daycare and child daycare facility for the less fortunate citizens in the Milwaukee, WI area.
On this particular project Floorcare USA performed a diamond grinding and concrete polishing process to the newly poured concrete. This proved to be an especially challenging decorative concrete flooring project as the client needed specific color coordination as part of the design theme. Floorcare USA performed multiple concrete dye/stain sample installations until the correct color was achieved and then performed the concrete grinding, concrete polishing and concrete dye/stain application to the slabs. Upon completion the floors still didn’t achieve the desired result and Floorcare USA, Inc., worked with the client to re-engineer the floors and additional polishing, dye/stain and sealer steps were performed to help the client achieve the exact stained concrete and polished concrete look that they desired.
The second project featured, was for our second largest University in the UW system.
On this project Floorcare USA performed several different types of concrete flooring systems including: sealed concrete floors, elastomeric traffic membrane and waterproofing membrane concrete floor coatings, decorative quartz epoxy coated concrete floors and pitching of concrete floors to ensure proper drainage. Each concrete flooring system was engineered to the precise needs of the concrete in that area to ensure the very best performance.
The third project featured in the Wisconsin Real Estate Awards was for the new corporate offices for the World’s Largest Music Festival.
The concrete flooring systems that Floorcare USA, installed for this Milwaukee office was diamond grinded concrete slabs, diamond polished concrete slabs with an application of concrete dye/stain to the slabs to achieve the desired result. The concrete was diamond grinded and then diamond polished to achieve the desired sheen, then the concrete had concrete dye/stain applied to it in the dilute rate to achieve the desired result. The client now has beautiful polished concrete floors that will deliver years of reliable service if maintained properly.
