A Milwaukee, Wisconsin Area Manufacturer combines epoxy concrete coatings and concrete stain for a beautiful floor.

When a local Milwaukee area manufacturer of high end restaurant equipment was looking for the perfect flooring solution for their kitchen demonstration facility, they sought out idea’s from Floorcare USA on the perfect floor.

The manufacturer wanted a beautiful, artistic floor that had the durability and performance of a concrete epoxy coated flooring system with the unique features of a concrete stain process.

Floorcare USA first removed the old floor coverings, then mechanically diamond grind the concrete surface to properly prep it and provide for a light salt and pepper aggregate exposure.

Floorcare USA worked with the clients architect and a beautiful geometric pattern was designed and then mapped onto the concrete slab where decorative score cuts were installed to delineate between the different shapes and colors.

Next, Floorcare USA very carefully installed the different colored concrete stains throughout the floor taking great care to not allow any of the different colors to “bleed” into one another.

Once the patterns and stains were applied, Floorcare USA used its expertise to “marry” the beauty of decorative concrete flooring with the durability of industrial epoxy concrete flooring systems and practices.

Then, applied a primer and base coat of industrial grade epoxy primer and base coat systems and once those cured, mechanically abraded the surface to smooth and further refine the floors.

Once the floors had their base coats installed and top coat of High Gloss, Aliphatic (UV-resistant) CRU-Chemical Resistant Urethane concrete coatings system was installed to finish up this amazing floor which is as much a piece of art as it is a floor!!
