A high-end FBO (Fixed Based Operations) private aviation provider was looking for the perfect hangar floor, they knew exactly whom to partner with: Floorcare USA, Inc.

Concrete floors are an integral part of FBO and aviation hangars with:

All being important aspects to the FBO: Fixed Base Operations and their clients.
Floorcare USA partnered up with this Chicago area FBO to design and engineer the perfect aviation hangar concrete flooring system.
First the concrete was mechanically steel shotbasted and a high moisture tolerant primer system was applied.
The concrete control joints and expansion joints were diamond saw-cut clean and filled with Polyurea Joint Filler; joint fillers bridge the gaps present between slabs.
At this point in the process of engineering this slab of concrete to ultimately be a floor worthy of a world-class FBO facility, the floors were primed, base coated and top-coated with a multi-coat application of 100% solids epoxies in bright white pigment and then a final top coat of aviation grade, Chemical Resistant Urethane – CRU in white was applied.
Once the urethane top coat system was applied, the decorative elements were planned and implemented.
A HUGE custom color floor logo system was engineered based off of the digital image provided by the client; concrete floor signs can really provide a level of bling!
Once the floor sign was placed, multiple coats of aliphatic (uv-resistant) clear coats were applied to embed the FBO logo into the floors.
Then, a multi-color border system was placed around the logo in the clients exact RAL color match for a stunning concrete coating, epoxy and urethane flooring system!
